Donuts Glazed

Always read thru any recipe first before you begin

This recipe works great in the mini electric donut maker. You will need a donut pan in order to bake these in the oven or you could use a mini muffin pan and just make "holes".

In a large bowl, whisk the following ingredients together:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/8 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

In a medium size bowl, whisk together the following:

Place the dry ingredients into the wet and stir until it is combined.

Preheat the donut maker. Place the batter in a zip type bag and cut a 1/4" hole in the bottom. Then squeeze the batter into the pre heated donut spaces just like using a pastry bag. Cook according to the donut maker's directions. These are really cute and fun to make.

For the oven: Preheat to 350 degrees. Scoop the batter into the donut pan ( bake for 12 to 15 min) or mini muffin pan ( bake for 10 min.) or until a toothpick inserted in to the center comes out clean.

Let cool on racks and glaze your donuts. Makes 36 minis

Glaze: 1/4 cup liquid of your choice mixed with 3 cups powdered sugar. Dip the tops of your donuts in the glaze and allow them to set up.
